Elections for the Executive Committee 2015-2018

As every four year, the Executive Committee will be renewed at the General Assembly of CARBICA, on December 4th, 2014.

The call for nominations is launched.

Nominations are invited for all the posts of the CARBICA Executive Committee 2014-2018. You are invited to nominate yourself or others for the following posts:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Five floor members 

Please note the following:

  1. All nominated candidates must be up-to-date with regard to payment of membership fees. 
  2. Only Category A members are eligible for the post of CARBICA President and Vice-President. 
  3. Category B members are eligible for all other posts. 
  4. Cat C and D members are eligible for posts without portfolio. 
  5. All candidates must declare their interest in standing for one or more posts in writing. You should provide two supporting documents to accompany your letter declaring your candidacy and eligibility for office. Firstly, you should prepare a short Curriculum Vitae (CV), which describes your career to date. Secondly, you should write a Statement of Policy, outlining what you intend to do if you are elected.  Both of these documents should not exceed two A4 pages in length. 
  6. Send these documents to the Election Officer, Nolda Romer-Kenepa before the 31st of October 2014 to E-mail address: nolda.romer@gmail.com.   
  7. Ballot forms will be issued on November 7th and the closing date for the reception of votes will be on December the 4th at the General Assembly in Martinique. It is intended that the results of elections will be announced at the General Assembly in Martinique.
  8. Candidates are responsible for securing voting members' support for their candidacy.
